Most modern talent solutions are easy to connect to via API's or proprietary connection modules. We have a library of dozens of plug and play connections, and we are adding more all the time. We keep all of our connectors up to date, so you don't need to worry about them.
When we come across a system we don't have a connector for, we will build one, so you don't need to worry about that, either!
Of course there are some older systems (and internal systems) which do not have these connectors so there are some cases where data needs to be moved manually. If that happens, we work with you to set up a data extract and transmission method, which we make as simple for you as possible.

Our core platform connects what we call "people profiles". This includes any professional data about people. The data is found in customer systems.
Then, once all the people data is connected, we can also connect all of THAT to business, market and financial data in our elastic online warehouse. So you get all the data in one place ready to use.
Constantly. Our algorithms run all the time to gather and connect data. Generally external data won't change more often than about monthly (tens of millions of records change every month), but we're still checking all the time!
Your internal data is updated as often as you want it to be. Most customers like internal data to be updated daily, but for some it is more or less often than that, depending on what data it is, and how they are using it! It's all completely configurable in SwoopTalent.
We are as flexible with how you consume data as we are with how you need to gather it! These are the main ways people access data:
Yes, and of ours! You might choose to download a spreadsheet right from our search page, to pull lots of records via API - or even to get a giant pipeline of data from our data warehouse. We make it as easy and flexible as possible to get any and all of your data, for whatever you need to do with it.
Mind you, all of your security settings will apply, so you can only download data your organization has granted you permission to see!

Yes, we can. We can automatically connect all of your talent data, connect that to all of the public data about talent...and give you a single feed you can securely pull and update as often as you want. We even give you full query powers to create the perfect data model for you.
Bonus: You can also connect business and market data in our warehouse if it's not easy in yours!
No. We keep the public data in completely separate database shards, just as we do the data of separate customers. Your data shares space ONLY with your data.

There aren't really any "typical" implementations, you'd be amazed how different the data landscapes are from organization to organization. We listen to what you need, then make a recommendation. You pick and choose what you want, and in what order. What's really nice about SwoopTalent implementations is that we are highly flexible about what we do in what order. You can add new systems and data sources (or take away old ones) any time, which gives you a lot of choice and flexibility.
If you're doing a data migration, it is a bit more typical. We'll arrange to connect to your current systems and extract your data (you don't need to worry about that, it's automatic), and we'll work with your implementation team to make sure that the data is delivered to the target system in the format and structure they need, and we adapt to any changes needed throughout the project. It's MUCH easier than flat files!
Sadly, yes. Sometimes there's simply not enough data about each person to be able to accurately match it. We don't need much data, but it needs to be enough for the algorithms to confidently know they are a match. If you have any doubts about that, contact us and we'll assess your dataset for you.
We also only connect data about people in the core SwoopTalent platform. Other data that's related to people analytics such as job data, financials, etc gets connected in our warehouse (or yours).
